Social Economy Research Network of Ireland

The Research Network for the Social Economy in Ireland

SERNI is a research network of established higher education institutions and individual academics and graduate students whose goal is to provide a forum for those researching in the broad social economy, including the areas of social and solidarity economy, social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, social finance and social innovation.

About Us

SERNI is a voluntary network of academics and graduate students working in the areas of social and solidarity economy, social enterprise, social entrepreneurship and social innovation. It aims to be a key resource for any serious study of the social economy in Ireland, and to contribute to a greater understanding of the Irish social economy and its constituent sectors, and to place it in a broader comparative perspective.

Membership

If you are a member of staff of an Irish HEI or graduate student interested in the social economy in Ireland, including the areas of social and solidarity economy, social enterprise, social entrepreneurship and social innovation, you can join as an individual member.
